Been out in the Moors today (near Leek/Buxton) and took the camera along too.

Just a few of my favourites from the lot (took around 100 photos). Pretty disapointed with how the camera performed really. Very little dynamic range with alot of blow out on the whites and little detail the the ground. Exposing is tricky due to this but overall, I think some of the results are good! Could have done with a gradient ND filter really to get the detail in the skies. Plus, having the camera set to 800iso didnt help much with the quality... ah well, live and learn :-)

Just wish it had a better dynamic range!

Did you take them as RAWs? Could try a bit of HDR to increase the dynamic range. Nice photos though!

Deluded, with digital, try not to lose detail in the highlights. You are quite correct, use of an ND filter would hugely help. Don't be disappointed with the camera performance, tighten up a bit on your technique! I've run one of your images through PS adjusting levels and you can see it's quite punchy.

I really like this one - hope you don't mind, I've given it a little tweak:
