Bit of advice please guys. I am looking to but one of these for my wife. She is the photographer and is looking to start doing canvas prints.
As its a suprise for her I cant ask her advice.

I have done some internet research and the epsom 7800 looks to fit the bill.

Any and all comments appreciated.

£3500 for that printer - bearing in mind the cost of the consumables (inks, canvas, papers) which I suspect are quite high, I wonder how long it will take to recover the cost and turn a profit?

Might be worth contacting Tim on here (posts as ROADRUNNER3) as I believe he does canvas prints.

I'd add that having recently stretch framed a big canvas print I can tell you it's not much fun, so I'd consider who will end up doing that, will it be you or the wife?

have you considered the HP Z2100 24inch printer. its a bit more than the 7800 I think but it has its own profile making software and it does this automatically so you can make profiles for non HP paper with just the click of a few buttons. you also don't have to swap blacks which on the epson costs a lot in ink waste
