Minolta Maxxum / Dynax / Alpha lenses?
Discussion
Is there anyone here who's got a good working knowledge of these lenses, and could give me an idea of the relative abilities of different models? I'm after a decent mid-sized AF telephoto.
Do they differ greatly in quality from comparable Canon/Nikon-fit lenses (apart from the fit!) or are they all (taking IS and the camera out of the equation) much of a muchness?
Thanks

Many of the independant lens makes do Minolta/sony fit as well as Nikon Canon so the quality should be the same whichever you're going for. I've had a tamron 28-200 fitted to 3 different minoltas over the years and never had any problems with it.Do they differ greatly in quality from comparable Canon/Nikon-fit lenses (apart from the fit!) or are they all (taking IS and the camera out of the equation) much of a muchness?
