A lot of them are a bit soft, as I seemed to be using the full 300mm, handheld, for most of the animals, and the cameras nothing special. And all the smaller ones are behind horrid scratched sheets of perspex, so I had to use manual focus and be very patient! I think It shows I need to be bolder with my composition aswell, as I had to crop a few of them a fair bit, putting those pixels to waste. Good fun though, hope you like!

Nice set of pics, No 12 is cool.

I love Chester Zoo, its definitely a full day out. Was planning to go some time this week but think the weather has put a stop to that little outing.

Very nice, a lovely set. I think all the greenery is throwing the white balance out a bit in some of these but it's only a minor criticism really.

Thanks guys, I was happy with them too. Its a funny thing the Zoo, I think of it as being something for young children to enjoy, and as a teenager I would have scoffed at the idea - but this time I was really looking forward to it, and, quite rightly, had a really fun day.

Your quite right, the light was changing quite a lot and I didnt really pay too much attention to it. I also have a fubared (no/very little green channel!) screen so its hard for me know quite what all the rest of you are seeing!

My Camera tends to stay in the 'FujiChrome' colour setting, which is supposed to emulate the much-loved Fujichrome 35mm film.
Its not the most technically accurate representation of colour, but I dont care, I'm more bothered about them just being bright, vibrant photo's which are nice to look at.
