Georgie and the Chopper
Discussion
I shot these back in February but try as I might I haven't managed to get anyone to use them. Mainly because the mag that was most likely to use them seems to be run by some very rude and incompetent people and I haven't managed to speak to anyone sensible there. Despite the blue skies it was only about 5 degrees that day so the model (Georgie) was very brave! They were shot at an active airstip (as you see in IMG_2041) so we had to get permisison to go airside, which Gary who owns the chopper sorted out. The chopper was built specially for him in Ireland and then shipped over.
I've left them in the format I send round to magazines as I thought it may interest some both files are about 1.5mb.
Enjoy...

So you do all that speculatively?
In this instance yes, I was contacted by Gary (who owns the chopper) to ask if I would like to shoot his bike. Once the shoot was arranged we thought about trying to get the shots published. Money isn't my primary driver for photography
I love the colours and the use of DOF.
Like CY88 though I find the model distracting in some of the shots.
Not sure if it is her expression (the chilly conditions couldn't help) or just her look.
That is as much taste though.
On the shots where there is vignetting, is that real or post effect?
