Settled my "buy now pay next year" deal for my 70-200 L yesterday. Then started feeling bad about not having anything on tick, so have "accidentally" ordered a 40D today. £499 after cashback would fall into the rude-not-to category, right? hehe

First class decision.

I accidentally ordered a Gibson 335 dot flame yesterday. Will I regret it?

YOU might (once you play your particular example) but most people wouldn't smile

BTW take that as a compliment !!

Why are you waiting? From your other thread, looks like Kerso is £10 cheaper than Warehouse Express overall. So take the WE "pay next year" deal at £599, claim the cashback, and drink 3 less pints between now and next May to save the £10. QED Job's a carrot smile

ETA - I am really good at justifying why I should spend money I don't have. When I was a student, I justified getting a mobile phone (in 1994) by giving up smoking. Was most enjoyable, sitting out in the sun, chatting on the phone, with a fag on the go hehe

Warehouse Express. They have a "beat any price" deal but the only cheaper option I could find was £1 less than them so I thought it would be a bit miserable to demand they reduce it!

Well it arrived today. Frankly, it's rubbish.

Nah bks is it biggrin it's bloody fantastic! And better still the Mrs has no clue it's not the same one I was using yesterday hehe

Screen is streets ahead, menu system is better, high speed continuous mode is just mental. Feels 1000% more solidly built than the 350. Can't wait to try it with the 70-200 L bounce

nice one biggrin The 40D is a stunning camera, I upgraded from the 350D also, mind you, I still use the 350D sometimes..

Good choice and I look forward to seeing some shots!

partly but more over the fact the only reason I dont have one now is because when I bought the 5d all of the kits were sold out so I always intended getting it

but yes Nicks shots did help a bit though it would be interesting to see side by side comparisons between that and my cheap sigma

I imagine many women do Martin but I never feel that I have to justify buying expensive shoes. It's my money so I'll spend it how I like is my motto (ah the joys of being single hehe ). I'm getting my first pair of Ferragamo's next week. I can't wait biggrin

Martin.

ETA - sorry miniman...I'll stop the hijack now.
