Has anyone used or bought one? Thinking of buying one for my 400D (currently have a Sigma 18-125 which I am happy enough with, but would like the benefit of an Is lens without paying a fortune).

Doesn't look great, but then with a superzoom you usually have to compromise somewhere to get the range.

Personally would go for a couple of faster, shorter zooms that you could use wide open.

I've already replied to this once lol...

Sigma have a new 18-135 OS which should be better unless you want the extra reach, the 18-200 OS is OK for the price and 10* zoom etc but its not great(as above).

I bought one earlier this year and I've been very happy with it so far.
