Hi, the chap we wanted for our wedding is sadly double booked for the date we're getting married - Saturday 18th October 2008.
The event is near to Bridgnorth, Shropshire & we need you talented chaps to recommend someone for us.

Hannah.

Thanks Phil smile

Unfortunately NM missed out on 'Bloke' by just a few days, so much as it grieves me I've had to throw this to the PH photo hordes!

(now I must blow up the venue so they have to cnage the date evil )

We used Andrew Hazard http://www.andrewhazard.co.uk/ for our wedding in Majorca in 2006. He is very good and on the basis he travelled that far I'm sure he would travel elsewhere.

We used a guy called Simon Atkins in October last year and were really impressed by the pictures and service. Very much a casual melt-into-the-background style which was exactly what we wanted, and came up with a series of photos that really told the story of the day. Based in Northants.

Thank you all very much for your suggestions & PMs so far - of which there have been A LOT. thumbup

Pretty much every single one has been a minimum of 100 miles away from the venue & I know that you are all very talented but the travelling costs of £.50p-£1.80 per mile round trip bumps the cost up quite a bit & some of the quotes coming back are excruciatingly expensive. eek

I've got to run a 4.0L Cobra you know! hehe

you could try Hazel Thompson at True Image Photopgrahy. Observer Hodge Award winner no less. She did our photos and was excellent.

I don't about travel, but might be worth discussing with her.

Her personal site is www.hazelthompson.co.uk

Every day in October EXCEPT the 18th is good here... nuts

Gwaan, move it - I know it'll rain on the 18th, but every other day will be nice and sunny...

Blimey, nobody has mentioned Dave @ PR photography? OK, he's not good enough to understand RAW just yet (joke wink) but they're pretty good! http://www.pr-photography.org/

Nice one trackdemon. I'm usually the first to recommend them, based on the work I've seen. If I hadn't buggered off to Vegas to get married I'd have been on the phone to Dave from PR Photography in a heartbeat asking them to do my wedding.

Give Sarah a ring at Soul-Stealerz based at Telford. She should be able to sort you out, if she is busy she will recommend someone else good in the area.

Tell her you got her number from Carl (sid) it SHOULD help lol
