Working on a file earlier, and for reasons unknown the pointer changed to a small hand (see pic). Now I cannot activate any of the tools I need.... any idea's?

I've reset all tools, & rebooted the machine (no idea why, but you never know!).

Na, if the space bar was jammed, the keyboard buffer would overrun and the machine would beep. Could be the mouse button however.

Tried using the tool shortcut keys to move around - the icon you're showing is the one for Move (M) I think - try C, M A or P (off the top of my head) to select different tools.

hehe Heay you know the IT rules for this sort of thing. First switch it off and on again. Then if that doesn't work a bit of a bash is in order. Still no joy? Think about things for a bit then repeat!

Been out the game too long mate, although the reboot part still seems ingrained hehe

One of my favourite sayings is "If it aint working, you're not hitting it hard enough". Seems applicable biggrin
