Cats taken with a Canon eos 400d

Just purchased my first proper camera 'clues in the title' and just thought i would share my results so far. there is a lot to take in with the fully manual mode, i think i will work my way to manual slowly. Looking for some CC. The firs 6 were taken with the Canon, the rest with a point and shoot.

Nice cat's I have a Tabby as well. I can't put up pictures, is it because I'm a new member

Great shots there. Some really nicely lit shots.

I find photographing the cat bloody impossible. He prefers laying in darkly lit parts of the house and I feel that using a bright flash on him would be a bit cruel.
