Hi folks,

Is there any small footprint image software that'll do simple stuff like resizing/editing, ability to blur out numberplates, that sort of thing. Batch processing useful too!

I'm sure I've found freeware things on download.com before - any thoughts? Nothing as complicated as gimp/ps, something quick and easy wink

Paint.net is pretty good for most things. The one glaring omission I have found is you can't do rotations at anything other than 90 degree increments. It's community supported and there are typically lots of plugins available that fill any gaps in functionality you might find.

I use ACDSee for small alterations and batch jobs, it's pretty good and also has the ability to export directly to PS or upload direct to a Flickr account.

I use ACD for most of my stuff. Also just signed up for the new Abode online service, looks reasonably good.
