I am really proud of these! It got a bit difficult when it started to snow during the last VW cup race. Trying to pan into snow is not that easy. Anyhow onto the pictures:

Some nice pics there, and thumbup for braving the elements.

2, 6, and 7 look a little oversaturated (might be the colours...), but I do like the first Lambo and the Aston...

Ah...I thought you'd processed them afterwards (Photoshop or similar).

Out of interest, what camera were you using? And what settings?

Thanks.

Interesting then that some of them have come out so vibrant...I'm guessing the camera's internal processing. Either that or some racers clubbed together and hi-jacked the Dynorod paint delivery... wink

Quick tip for next time (takes a little bit of practice) - depending on distance from the cars (and therefore speed 'across' you), try dropping the shutter speed to between 1/150 and 1/80 and panning with the car as you take the photos. If you want to be creative play around with shutter speeds and see what results you get...

They look good to me. I'm pretty new to this photography thing too, but one basic thing I find works with car photos is to have more road visible in front of the car than behind, so the back of the car is closer to the edge of the frame than the front. I just find it looks a bit more natural and more like the car is in motion if you can see more of where it is going, if that makes sense.
