Hopefully this works! On Sunday we had one of those spectacular days in the mountains here in Scotland where you just wish it won't end....a mate and I went off to Glencoe to climb a 500m gully on Stob Coire nam Beith. On topping out we were confronted with these views......not too shabby I reckon, and if ever a smillie was appropriate then cloud9

Click to uncompress

views out to Jura, Eigg, Rhum and beyond

Ben Nevis, Ballachulish and beyond all the way up to Skye

and a b&w version - not sure what to think of this one....?

and finally a happy me!

I know there's no right to roam up there, but that's taking things a bit too far!

First one is fantastic, looks great although too much like hard work for me climbing all the way up there!

Looks quite the hobby you have there. Cracking set, bet many people can't say they've shot from up there!

....

So Mr. Carter, better start packing that tripod.

Wow they are truly beautiful.

Number 1 is cloud9 and would be on my wall... I'm presuming that's what will be happening to it?

Edit: PH Obviously doesn't like the hash sign..

Lovely shots...

Note to self..."Buying crampons and ice-axes, then only using them once in two years is a waste of money!
