I was invited along to watch my mates band "Swagger" rehearse so I thought I would take the camera along and experiment

The lighting was terrible, but I hope I managed some decent shots...Im quite happy with them smile

Well I've not done much photography recently as using film was costing way too much. Gone digital so I can take millions of shots. Think I took about 150 at the Abbey today!

I'll have to try and get myself to the next meet up so we can swap tips. Or more to the point you can tell me stuff! biggrin

to be completely honest, a friend of a friend was recently blown away by a statement that one of his idols in photography only uses a consumer lens for their shots (they're excellent too) and she rattles off literally hundreds sometimes thousands of shots to make sure she gets the right ones, so you're not exactly on a bad track

You look you have an excellent eye for a shot so you should need much in the way of pointers chuck

That seems to be my technique too! Thanks, I was always told by my photography tutor I see things that others dont.

Its just all the uses of a digital camera I need to master now
