That RS4 sounded great !Next 'Hot Marques' is 29th of March, but the next 'Speed Sunday' (£10 spectating fee) is 24th of February.

Thank you sir, first time shooting in RAW and the more i look at them the more it would appear i have over exposed them!
I found the conditions could be a little difficult actually - i have some shots that are pretty underexposed due to the harsh lighting. The colour of the light was awesome though
Btw, what kit were you using ? Like the dof on your bike shot

'Fraid shooting raw means spending almost the same amount of time processing the shots

Cheers.
The Bike shots and the Legends and any others taken around the paddock, were all taken with my best purchase to date, 50mm f1.8 an amazing lens, and to be honest has kind of made my kit lens redundant, and shown me what a decent lens can do!
I am after two lenses to complete my kit, one being the very well respected Sigma 10-20, as i do like my landscape shots and have only seen awesome shots come from this lens, and also a better quality Zoom, as the Tamron has served me well, rather than wasting money upgrading from my D50 body, I would rather spend it on a better zoom! Any idea on the Nikon Zoom front - budget £400-800.
Cheers,
Dave

I bought a 50mm f1.4 recently, really refreshing to use in comparison to the normal zoom lenses I am after two lenses to complete my kit, one being the very well respected Sigma 10-20, as i do like my landscape shots and have only seen awesome shots come from this lens, and also a better quality Zoom, as the Tamron has served me well, rather than wasting money upgrading from my D50 body, I would rather spend it on a better zoom! I'm trying not to get addicted to that prime-lens-quality as it sounds like a very expensive path to take

'Fraid im a Canon user so im not best placed to know Nikon's lens lineup...
There looks like a nice f2.8 zoom for about the right price though - 80-200mm f/2.8 D ED, its £680 on warehouseexpress.
(There is a review on photozone.de)
Its not AF-S though, unsure if that means it might not focus fast enough for motorsports shots...
Cheers.
