Photoshop Problem

I've obviously done something in Photoshop, and now it won't let me do anything. I'm using PS7, and no matter what tool I select, as soon as I move the cursor over to the image/work area, the cursor turns in to a 'hand' and won't let me make any sort of changes to the image. I've tried loading different images but the problem persists.

All was working fine last night as I made a few alterations to an image I was working on, but today it doesn't want to play. I am assuming that I have put it in to some 'mode' or other by accident, but for the life of me I can't work out what it is I've done, or how to correct the situation.

Anyone got any ideas?

if all else fails uninstall then reinstall, should solve the problem.

No probs with keyboard. Beginning to think a re-install is going to be the only answer. Ho hum.

Does this happen with ANY image or just one?

It was happening with any image. However SWMBO has just logged me off so she can check her e-mails, and when I logged back on again, it was working normally. Very strange.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled CS3 4 times in two days and I'm still conversing with Adobe customer support because apparently my "Licencing for this product has failed catastrophically" :suicidal: Haven't had PS for a week and I'm going cold turkey!
