My first year of owning a camera and im quite surprised at some of the shots i got, more surprised at the money i spent on lenses though. picked one from each different type of pictures ive taken or i would end up with 3 motorsport shots probably.

April 07, a gorgeous sunset taken from a hilltop at Waddington in Lincoln looking west over to High Marnham's disused powerstation, i took at about 40 shots one after another, all the shots came out fantastic but this is my favourite, infact one of the best shots i've ever taken.
Canon 300D and a canon 100 to 300mm zoom lense and no filter.






July in Hartsholme park Lincoln, theres tons of huge dragon flies and if you're patient enough they will settle and stay still while you get as close as you can snapping away with each inch closer until they finally fly off, this shot taken Canon 300D and a 100mm macro lense



october 07 in Hartsholme Park in Lincoln has some great lakes and a footbridge crossing them, the sun was in the right point of the sky, i got my kids to throw bread to the ducks and guls, this one photo is the best i got of the days 90 shots, there we're only 5 more shots worth showing from that day.

I was thinking about doing some these today and had even got round to finding the manual for the flash.

Mountain biker. I like this because it's not something I've done much of, but this shot seems to work well.


This is my daughter, so I guess I'm bound to love this one.


This is my nephew. I was trying to pan with him on his scooter, then he stopped right in front of me and I had to stand on tip toe's as my 70-200 wouldn't focus close enough! I've got quite a few PS actions and I've used a X-process action on this shot. Doesn't suit many shots imo, but I like this.
