Dell 2407, Vista Colour Profiles & Windows Photo Gallery

[DanH]

Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but I've finally worked out why Windows Photo Gallery (which ships with Vista) was butchering the colour rendition of my photos that looked fine in Lightroom or Paint. Its down to the Dell Vista 2407 colour profile being completely wrong. The way to fix it is to remove the colour profile in the colour management control panel.

I only bother mentioning this here as it took me a fair old while to track down what the problem was, as I wasn't sure if it wasn't lightroom causing the issue rather than WPG. Anyway its much better now.

Apparently some Samsungs have the same issue.
