Somewhere that contrasts the colour of the car a bit more?

Agreed - nice location though. Do you know anyone with a bright yellow car? If so get them down there!

Also, a polarising filter would help cut down on distracting reflections.

Can see some creativity there which is good.

2 and last one are great settings and good composition, although a non-grey car would have helped. Long-distance one interesting also.

The one with the blue framework in the foreground would have benefitted from an even shallower depth-of-field.

1. Angle would be nice if it weren't for the sea as a backdrop. Car is underexposed a bit I think.

2. Quite nice and technically seems spot on.

3. Good idea to find some foreground. I suppose if you can find something that frames the car it's even better.

4. Not really on. The white sky and it's reflection makes this a non-starter.

5. Again, not bad. Perhaps try some with car facing the other way? Try with wheel's turned as well?

6. Really nice idea and I admire you for making the effort to trek to the other side of the harbour , car's a bit small though.

7. Great idea again and good angle. Improvements? Background a little disjointed/distracting. Against just the sky with a filter to darken the sky might have worked better. Or perhaps with the wall of the building behind it.

8. Lovely shot. Did you take a series of this composition? Maybe a slightly tighter framing losing the gate would work? But I do really like it - good the way the steps lead you into the picture. Angle suits the CRX also.

9. Tricky with the light being brighter in the background - not much you could do.

10. Like it although bright sky causing difficulties as well a bit.

I think you may have a Fuji and not sure if you can get a filter set for that. I think from earlier posts you were getting a tripod. If that's the case, it may be worth trying buying a Cokin or similar ND grad. filter or two and just hand-holding them. They are relatively inexpensive and might be very helpful in a lot of the type of shots you're doing. Actually I just found out that the Cokin grads I have are not actually neutral, they are grey so there are probably better options. Perhaps it's worth trying even a really cheapo filter just to see if it would work for you though.

I wish I had as much imagination. I think if I'd taken these I'd probably be happy to have tried some great ideas and come away with that one really nice shot.
