I like the first! Two and three could benefit from more light to the subject.

Cheers. I was deliberately trying to get a moody shot. In fact, in shot 2, I actually altered the curves to make it darker, then knocked out the adjustment layer over the bike to bring that back in!

I did take a succession of shots in pose 2, hand holding the flash (was on the ground in shots 2 and 3 - airbrushed out) in various places around the bike, with a view to fusing them all together afterwards. I just haven't done it yet

I like the first one, I might be going to Gravy levels of preparation here but I do find the grit on the front tyre a bit distracting boxedin

Number 2 I like as well, how about a black and white version?

Cheers

Great location, just more punch needed on the bike (in #2 and #3), in terms of brightness, and possibly try upping the saturation.

An example of mine, which has polarised views, is from the Air Tattoo last year, where the photo looked a little lifeless, so I messed around with the saturation to get an almost posterised effect.

My favourite is #3 for the setup, perhaps a slightly lower angle. Have a tweak of the settings and post the result back up here

I like the composition of number 3 best, but as Steve says, it needs a bit of punch.

Looking at it on my 17" CRT here at work I agree - at home on my 19" flatscreen it looked more contrasty...

I'll make a few tweaks

Looks nice Doodah.

And LOL @ Martin. I did think about a Honda, but I like my bikes to have a bit of character biglaugh

Anyways, I tweaked those two images, here are the results...

Oooh, lovely! I'd love to own one of those. Never ridden one but I did perch on one at the NEC and I loved the riding position - SO extreme, but so intuitive.
