I want to buy a Canon 70-200 f/2.8

[Typhon]

for me 20D. The cheapest I've found it is at London Camera Exchange for £900

Has anyone bought from this shop before? I'm a bit weary because it's a lot of money (well, it is to me) and I've not heard much about this place, unlike Jessops and Jacobs, who seem to have a great reputation. Should I go for it?

Bought from their store in Nottingham. Well stocked, knowledgeable staff, good prices...go for it.

Nothing wrong with LCE apart from the prices.

The 70-200 2.8 (non IS) is now out of production and you should be able to get a better price than that if you shop around.

The Sigma equivalent is also well worth consideration.

Sigma 70-200 on a 20D...
