Discussion
Just getting to grips with the thing at the moment.Completely different in feel to my old 35mm.At least you get the control tho. Both pics taken on manual, this afternnon whilst out with the hounds.Ignore the crap border, Im working on my shop skills.
Field has had slight saturation increase and is a crop.Dog is straight out of the camera in jpg.
Oh, and I far prefer taking car pics than this kind of stuff.
Opinions please, firstly regarding compostion and make up of the first one, and more quality related to the second.I know I'll never be up the standard of some on here, but Im learning,Every time I pick it up, I feel like I learn somehting new.Handles like a dream too, well impressed with the camera and happy I made the right choice.

I like the first one mate.
Having read your comment about my similar shot, you could eaisly make that look the same.
I'm just learning all about how ist done on digital too, its good fun getting better and better pics.
You should try starting the processing again and get it to the 750 px wide and compressed final image you want to load onto the web and then use filter > sharpen > unsharp mask and then have a play with the settings to sharpen it all up.
I'd also tweak the levels and saturation and contrast to bring out more detail etc.
Did you shoot RAW or jpeg? Do you have Photoshop?
Greg
