Some classic cars at the Donington Park general test today

[autofocus]

Hi there,

Took the morning off work today to attend the General Test at Donington Park. I really like going to the testing sessions as you can have a good wander round the pits and paddock and even watch the action from the pit wall if you want to. Oh and I forgot most importantly its free.

I took quite a few pics while I was there and thought I would play around with some of them. Here are three pictures I took of some of the older machinery that was out on the track. I have removed the colour, sharpened them up a bit and added some noise. I am going for the 1970's newspaper look, what do you think ??

Regards

Tim

Ah, I thought there were some interesting noises today.

Nice effects - looks like crushing for the web has upset a few of the straight lines (at least it does on my monitor) but the general effect is pretty good (if a little short on 'grain' ... )
