I've brightened this dullish sky to make it gorgeously blue... but think that perhaps it's overdone.

Maybe it was because I was there and can't help thinking "it NEVER looked like that" or maybe it's silly.

This is my first play with any tinkering like this and I'd welcome any comments.

You right, 'tis overdone and actually I find the colour a bit un-natural.

Best way to get natural looking deep blue sky: Polarizer @ 90 degrees's to the suns rays + ND grad.

I think the colours are fine but what got my attention is the over-sharpening.
