It is indeed lovely. However, may I be so bold as to suggest that it is slightly askew? The shoreline of the loch and the line of the roof being slightly off the horizontal seem to grab my attention away from the rest of the scene.

hmmm... it was a close call... but I've rotated it a tad.

Always up for a challenge, me!

Nice one! I'm no longer concerned that the owner is going to find his house under water as the contents of the loch flood out to the left

Awesome

I'm in Pitlochry for 10 days at Christmas I really need to have a go at this, if it's 10% as good as one of yours Steve I'd be happy

Just thought I'd say at this point (seems appropriate) that I'm loving the pic-a-day, Steve. So put this person down as one who enjoys seeing them thumbup

yes I love this feature and (like Tony) I've been stalking your website (but only for the amazing photographs and story of the house )

yes

Tam Lin gave me one of these for my birthday. beer It's fab! Weighs a ton, though.

Yep, the 80-400 is a beaut. Used it at a wedding the other day, at 400mm it can exceed the reach of your flash though!

That's even more impressive given it's not a prime. Shame it's Nikkor, obviously

Handheld?

Mostly. If there's a tree handy, I'll lean against it... but then I do that anyway.
