posting this 2nd one as a link only because when I tried to get it down to 100K it looked dreadful. So its a 210K image.

I like this shot, particularly with the lines of the car and the clouds, both connecting to a "disappearing point" on the horizon (I think that's what they call it!). I suspect the purists will advise removing the white lines on the road surface, particularly the one that "appears" from the front on the car. Nontheless, this is a great shot. Would have loved to have taken it, and to have the motor!
Just remembered; it's the "vanishing point" ...

Wow!
How did you retain the detail on this side of the Porsche; a filter of some sort?

Unfortunately I didn't have time to get the tripod out or else I might have taken two shots at different exposures (sky and car).
In this case I just took a few shots at different exposures. I then just tweaked the exposure afterwards differently for the sky and on the car. The sun's obviously blown out in this shot but I think it was the best compromise exposure of the ones I had.
I probably had an ND4 or ND 8 graduated filter on but I can't remember for sure (d'oh).
Thanks for the comments on composition - I knew it looked sort of right when I took it, but now I know why (the vanishing point thing) so I'll have to try to look out for that in future.
