Morning all.

Nothing too special, but I wanted to recommend the (via ebay) sellers I dealt directly with.
So thumbs up to Ian Kerr (ebay id 'kerso' - recommended to me from this forum) for a great price on a 50mm f1.8 and 430EX Speedlite, and to John Emson (ebay id 'johnecomputer') for another good price for a hot shoe spirit level - guess what my mates are getting for christmas!.

Now what shall I splurge on next...

Depends on what you've currently got,

However my 24-70 F2.8L was my latest purchase and it's probably my most practical and highest quality lens

EDIT:
I've also had a few purchases from Ian recently
a 580EX
1.4 TC
MR-14EX Ringlite
and a 300 F4L

Pleased to hear that, I've just ordered my 70-200L f2.8 IS from Ian.

Well, it is almost Xmas...

"Kerso" also has a pal in Wakefield known to many as "Stuv".
Trading alongside Kerso, Stuv has supplied me with "new" canon gear, and i cannot praise their service high enough.

hmmm not enough - it's never enough!
I think my next purchase will be a better general use lens, as I currently using and old/cheap one from my EOS300 (non-D). I got the 10-22mm as the 28-80mm was not wide enough, so something to replace that sort of range but a better lens is probably next - maybe the 24-105 L?
I also really like what I've seen of the 100-300 L... I think that choice is what Poah has? (10-22, 24-105, 100-300)

Oh I forgot the macro, I neeeeed a macro lens, so that might be next.

If I'd known that before I could have collected my gear and saved even more.

If you do low light shooting get the 24-70L f 2.8 the extra stop of light is more than compensation for IS and the 35mm "extra reach" (Zooms are always a compromise and the greater the zoom multiplier the greater the compromise)
