Cheap digi camera with DSLResque response time?

[zhastaph]

Hi peeps,

I may be asking for the moon-on-a-stick here, but my mother is always pinching my D70 for taking photo's of the kidz on their minibikes.

So, with christmas looming I was wondering if anyone new of any cheapish {say sub £100} digi's that don't have the awful lag that you normally get with these things? ie are capable of taking a photo of a motobike moving @ 30mph without rewarding with a nice peaceful empty piece of race track
