Having done nothing but talk shit and wind people up for a while, I would like to humbly apologise and post some vaguely sensible photos:

Gorgeous shots, Matt. I especially like 1 & 3 of the Landy. Any chance of getting them at 1280px wide for a desktop background?!

4 would look quite cool in a series of vertical shots like that. Pop them on canvas and have them in a hallway or something.

like the landscapy ones - the saturation on the last one is kinda crazy tho ?

If it were rad sunny I'd have expected the snow to show that too ?

Anyways - it is kinda like that all over at the moment - stunning colours in all teh trees - oh to have some time to take some pics ;-)

I like the first one best, in my book it could use even more colour/levels adjustment for the ultimate look/feel.

Ok I had a word with the council and they have moved it, and that nasty rock in front of the wheel... Wish they were that quick round here!

The vertical landscape is a belter plus I like Landy number 3, with the cloud rolling down the hills you have the safety of the Landy which will gte you out of trouble

There was a really weird stripe of sun across the middle, but tbh the colour and saturation is all wrong. My scanner is really misbehaving and I found out that my monitor is way out for some reason, and as this was the last image my eyes were already doing this: wobble I must correct it, looking at it again its fairly shocking!

Thanks Jason, this is actually my favourite (along with the first) but it doesnt seem too popular. I just like the way that the rocks lead your eye into the frame and the car is perched so high up <shrug>

In that case I'm not too surprised ol' Carpet Bomb knows a thing or two about what makes a landscape image work

Once I realised the road being kind of irrelevant actually added to the idea of an off-road vehicle, I preferred number 2.

This is the exact same conclusion I came to. At first I thought the road was too far to the right of the frame, but then looking at it again; the road isn't 'central' to this type picture.

I like it, but alike the others, to squash them down to 700 wide is rubbish!

Let them breath - we want a minimum of 1024 wide!!

Its quite amusing to watch, I must admit. I'm there farting about with a tripod and a spot meter scratching my head and Steve just goes click click click and then hangs them on the wall. confused

Well that was the idea...kind of towering over the road with a you expression on its face. Also, how are you supposed to know its off road unless you can see the road its off!

I'd had 4 bottles of Spitfire by that point, I wasn't at my quickest. I did actually twig as I was typing the original post, that wasn't just for effect
