Canon 10D v Nikon D50

Used Canon 10D or new Nikon D50. What would be your choice? a bit torn on both !!

D50 is entry level

10D is the next level up although an older version.

I'd go for the 10D personally but I'm a canon man.

10D may be a bit slow in today's standard but it's still a fantastic camera. I'd definitely go for it over D50. Get a battery grip as well for better handling. (and I'm totally Canon man)

Hmm just bought D50 with twin lens kits (18-55mm AFS-DX + 70-300mm APO Macro) plus 2gb memory card, case & 2 x battery for £370.

I thought it is bargain for 2 months old kits.

Wifey not sure about getting 4 years old 10D when the shutter been used loads (on most case over 15,000+ shots taken).

Nikkor AF-S VR 200 - 400 mm F4 G IF-ED
