I had a look at that one when I was signing up to BS, DT & SS a few months back. Don't they have a weird credit system though? If so, I think thats what put me off. Pity, as they deal in £'s and not the usual $'s by the looks of it.
Do they have a cheque option for the UK, or just for countries that can't get paypal?

Im not sure about the payment side of things. But I have heard that sales are far far better than bigstock, review times are good, with no silly limits (ie 5 photos per day) which also appeals to me. I signed up to Istock but havnt submitted anything as they have a 20 photos per week limit or something equally ridiculous. Do they have a cheque option for the UK, or just for countries that can't get paypal?

I have amassed the grand fortune of $2 on bigstock
in the past 3 or 4 months. Its hardly worth bothering with as the post upload process is
(catergorising etc.) I will have to read up on Fotolia if the downloads are good as you say; I hope they do cheques as I don't fancy having a paypal account et al.

Hmm, I dunno. I find the bigstock categorisation process so easy/fast. And they accept everything I upload. Ive only made about $45 there, $85 on dreamstime, and about $500 on shutterstock so far.

$45 for uploading to bigstock, thats about £30. I think it becomes worth while 2 years down the road, when that £30 becomes £250. Its worth the few hours it takes to upload, as your photos will be there forever.
Around the time I signed up, BS went from becoming a good site with good sales to a very slow site. They could pick up again at any time, who knows what their advertising/marketing boffs are up to.
I know a chap whose making $2500 every month from his microstock now. Takes a while to get there, but he lives in south africa, with the favourable exchange ratio its more enough for him to quit his job. More like £5000 a month in terms of food/petrol etc...

Can you submit shots that you use on other stock sites on Fotolia? I'm a bit confused as under what images cannot be uploaded in the training section, the line of text came up:
"Popular image found or coming from other stock image data base."
"Popular image found or coming from other stock image data base."
I think they are just covering their arses, by saying "Dont steal other peoples photos and try to sell them"
People do try this, and they begin their stolen stock careers by stealing other peoples most popular images. Takes all sorts...!

Thats ok then; 6 images waiting for review.

...none which were accepted...
They seem stricter than DT

Its a shame Bigstock didnt pay as well as the other sites, they accept everything I throw at them.
4 months, 400 photos, 2000 downloads, and Im nearly $700 richer. If only I'd had all 400 photos from day one. The "£500 every month" earning tier still seems like a long way off...

Strangely Fotolia has accepted all of my photos since...
no sales as yet though. How are your sales doing on Fotolia; do you have a link to your gallery?
