I am looking to go around London and experiment with take a few photos.

Obvious locations are Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, London Eye, and Battersea Power Station.

Are there any other good locations to experiment with photography? I am really talking about Buildings and Architecture.

Plus possible viewing locations.

The City, ie the financial district, Square Mile, whatever you want to call it.

Loads of fantastic architecture (both classic and contemporary) around there. I've only "passed through" with the camera - keep meaning to go back up specifically on a Sunday and just wander.

Other options for more dusk & nightime type views

1. New footbridge (upstream one) between Charing Cross and South bank, gives nice views of London Eye
2. Footbridge across from City to Tate Modern (but may be best in commuting hours however easily a cliche), can shoot either way but looking into the City I thhnk St Pauls is in the background
3. Albert bridge is nicely lit at night
4. Picadilly Circus if you can avoid the tourists
5. Opposite side of the road to the Ritz (Picadilly) with traffic flowing in front ot it
6. Westminster bridge looking towards Houses of Parliament
7. Waterloo bridge looking downstream into the City

Cheers
