Always had a soft spot for the Catalina for some reason, nice to see a pic of one.

Not wanting to be negative but do I detect a few more dust spots on that set of shots? Naturally sky shots will tend to highlight the tiniest blemish but whereas the previous day's shots had one spot, these seem to have quite a few more, which, were I a regular airshow shooter, would worry me a little.

Am I seeing things?

Probably not - I've been working on my laptop the last two days, necessity being the mother of invention and all that, and the screen's filthy. I was swapping lenses on both days pretty regularly so I wouldn't be surprised to find some dust in there. I haven't had a decent chance to shoot my white wall, up the contrast and clean the CCD yet.

Meant to say that they are great shots BTW.

At least one of the 'spots' spotted is a currently inactive pixel on my monitor by the looks of it.

That said I would have thought that even with lens swapping a 1D ought to be fairly resistant to dust effects. Maybe I hope for too much.

I guess there is a healing brush setting in PS that will save the day if it appears necessary. Of course if defn5 hadn't mentioned it it may not have troubled me at all!!!!
