Shuttleworth Collection Evening Air Display

[graham@reading]

Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden again, but this time for one of their evening displays. Thoroughly civilised affair

Finally getting to grips with the 1D now but obviously practice is always a good thing.

Incredible sunset tonight too

Congratulations on capturing a balloon burst during the barnstorming, only one person managed to do it when I was there and I didn't snap at the right time...

Love this:

First one for me - love the dark sky ;-)

there appears to be a spots of dust or dead pixels on your CCD? The worst just under the wingtip on photo 2 that prevails through the rest of the shots. Could be airbrushed out but tends to spoil them a touch. Sorry for being picky.

Well spotted.

I've got some more from Sywell Airshow today to go through - I'll check them and have a look at the camera.

Hope it's a dust speck. Mind you, the camera's only a couple of months old so should be under warranty for a dead pixel

Very nice pics. The evening lighting really adds a lot of atmosphere.
