Hi,

After much searching I can't find what I want and wondered if one of you could help.

I am looking for a utility for Windows that will allow me to do the following.

Add 68 minutes to the 'modified' time of a whole bunch of files.

More explanation: Rex and I shot a wedding together the other day but forgot to synchronise the time on our cameras first, as such the photos do not sort correctly...

My camera was 68 minutes behind his and his was correct. So I am looking to add 68 minutes to the 'modified' time of all my files in one go. I can find many utilities that allow me to pick a time to set them all to, but this is more of an 'offset' job.

Anyone know of any freeware?

Joe.

Photo Mechanic can do this too, but it's not free.

Managed to do it with a utility called 'dirdate' thanks to the chaps in the 'Computers' forum!

However will look at Exifer in more detail, looks cool.

I have been using photo mechanic for years (super program), and I never realised I could do that. And to think of the time i've wasted screwing aroudn with Exifer

For mac users, theres a program called PhotoInfo that does this really well and fast, and its free too.

It hasn't always been able to modify EXIF times. I think it arrived with the last big version update. Under the Tools menu...

yes ive seen it now, but that would explain why I hadn't known about it before. I'll give it a whirl next time I need to sync some cameras up

Go to your Windows command line, and type "touch --help"

There's then options to select files (i.e. *.*) and options to set the time/date etc
