I vaguely recall a row about too many nerdy equipment threads and not enough photos, subsequently Simpo stopped posting here. Or I might have imagined that he stopped at about that time.

Shame really as I always valued his input, and enjoyed his photos.

I wonder if he lurks but doens't post... a few pros like bacchus and bacardi used to post a fair bit but now don't so much. Now all we get is UKBob's stock images! joking!

I believe Bacchus180 is currently photographing wine down in France, at least that's what he told me, but I suspect he'll drink more than he photographs .

I look in to this forum from time to time and am happy to offer any advice where I can. But, to be honest, most of the questions and topics are the same old stuff week in week out and most of the keener folk here are more than capable of pointing people in the right direction.

As for Simpo, I'm sure he looks in from time to time too.
