Oh good. Some friends of mine have just emigrated to the Bay of Islands, loosely planning a trip myself. It's nice of John to do a reccy for me .

Anyone taking any bets as to how many pages his first thread back will run to? You what it's like having to look at other people holiday snaps, although, to be fair, John's snaps should be less panful than looking at my auntie Doreen's. .

I'm sure he's got a few good ones but I bet his D70 is wheezing and clapped out by now. Good job he's got a replacement lined up.

Awful place.... really not looking forward to visiting...... much.

Hmm. Works fine for me in 2 out of 3 browsers but not Internet Explorer. I'd copied the address from a Yahoo album so that's most probably why. I've copied the pic to another server which should fix it, otherwise Rob has supplied some nice views.... although my mates back garden doesn't steam .
