Best place for ink cartridges?

Hey Guys,

I've just bought an HP Photosmart 8250, which takes 6 ink cartridges - presumably I need to use genuine HP Vivera inks in it? Either way, where is the best (e.g. Cheapest) place to get these from?

I used www.cartridgemonkey.com just before Christmas. They were brilliant - significantly cheaper than anything else I could find (calculate the shipping as well...) and the parcel turned up the next day.

At the risk of hijacking this thread (sorry). Can I just ask does anyone know if it is possible to get JUST the ink cartridge for an Epson PictureMate?

I can only find the combo ink AND paper deal. Since I seem to use ink slightly faster than I use paper AND every time I buy the ink/paper pack I get a (so-called) bonus 30 sheets of paper free, the house is slowly filling up with paper I can't use.

I can of course buy the paper on its own, and suspect I foolishly did this once as well.

At the moment I have about 250-300 sheets of paper and I'm on my last cartridge - which claims to last for 100 pics.

If anyone has managed to get the DIY refills to work let me know how. First time I done it worked fine for about a month but now it just won't do colour very well at all. Tried everything but it's crap, even managed to make myself look like a ink spot test card.

re Printer - it prints 6x4 as well as A4. Oh and it does stickers and CDs etc too I think.

The best thing about it was I got it in the Boxing Day sales at Currys - half price! A bargain at £75

That printermonkey place was double the cost of all the other websites almost, and £3 per cartridge more expensive than PCworlds store!

Printerbox prices are quite good though, but still a little more than www.7dayshop.com

There are lots of Replacement Ink Cartridge suppliers, many of them are very good but be very careful the inks are often the killers of printers. If you want your prints to last fit an inkflow system that reduces the price by about 75% per print

Hi guys, I work as a commercial photographer and end up buying countless numbers of ink cartridges, the best place I've found recently is http://www.inkinablink.co.uk/ . The website is really straight forward to use, the prices are as competitive as hell and I nearly always receive the cartridges the next day. Well worth a look!
