Big problem!!!

Today I went to an eventing competition where a good friend made her international debut. And as her, self appointed, photographer I brought my Fuji XT-4 along. But when I got home and put the card in my macbook I noticed that in Bridge or in Finder, I can only see the first 11 pictures I took. When I put the SD-card back in the camera I can replay all the pictures. I have no clue what I have changed in my setting. Is there someone who can help me?

Regards,
Maurice

Google tells me your camera has no internal memory so they're not coming from there. Hence if the camera can see them they must still on the card.

Lexar Image Rescue is my go-to for files that might be slightly iffy. It used to come free with Lexar cards; I have v3 and v4; v3 seems to work better. No doubt other options exist.

Is there another folder when you open them in Finder? That’s caught me out a couple of times when the file numbering restarts from 0001 after a few photos were taken.

^^^ That's another good one.

I use Explorer to browse so I see all the folders on the way in and then it's obvious if there are two.

It isn't a new SD card bought from ebay or Amazon is it? There's a lot of fakes that have the firmware flashed to report as being much larger than they actually are & when the device tries to write to the non-existant space then nothing is actaully saved.

That was my first thought as well, this has happened a few times to me. But not this time...

Nope, it is not a cheap chinese product.

But when I tried to read the card in my windows PC, I found the pictures so I transferred them to a harddrive and copied the pictures to the macbook. I don't have a clue what has happened but I can edit the pictures. Thanks for your help.
