Just after a bit of advice, cant think of what the other half can get me for christmas, I like doing a bit of photography as a hobby, but already have a Nikkon D5100 with a couple of lenses, and a DJI Mini 2 Drone.

I saw the Dwarf 3 telescope, and thought it might be fun to have, wondered if anyone had any experience of this or an alternative, want a smart telescope for a bit of simple astrophotography, and something thats easily transportable.

Bit late perhaps...

My boss bought a Seestar S50 and I'm impressed with the photos he's got, and he really loves it. You can even use the raw image data as an intro to how to process astro photos.

Not sure between it, the Seestar S30 (out soon) and Dwarf 3 (out soon too) but doubt you'd be disappointed by any of them if you're a beginner.

I think I'm going to buy the S30 for myself as it's cheapest, as although I'm relatively experienced as far as astrophotography goes, I want something I can just use there's an hour clear to mess about, take to show other people or just away with me easily just for fun.
