I know this is a long shot but does anyone know the outputs from this device on the Aux port? I want to use it with a home brew 12 volt solenoid water drop generator and don't really want to destroy the Pluto.
I got no answer, like many others, from their "support".
I've ordered some 3 volt opto-couplers to test it but...

I don't understand a word of it. Are you in the right forum?

It looks like the Aux connector is a 2.5mm stereo audio jack with the trigger voltage being sensed on the ring of the connector:

the limit is 3.3v so your 12v will be too much.

That's the input spec not the output spec. I need the output to drive the opto-coupler. Their drop device is driving from the aux Port. I don't want to use their drop device as it has many bad reviews.

Their own valve uses a 12v battery to drive the solenoid so the circuit board must be buffering the 3.3v control pulse from the Aux port. For $40 it might be worth buying a valve kit & cannabalising the interface board.

Thanks. 3 3 volt output was the info that I needed. DIY here we come hopefully without magic smoke.
