Looking for advice and recommendations.

I’m trying to buy a camera as a gift, for someone who takes endless photos of landscapes whilst walking and hiking. It’s generally the only thing they do, as they use them to create paintings from.

What kind of camera up to around £200 would do this best?

Looking at something rugged and small would be best..

The Nikon W300 (Discontinued now it seems) would be good inspiration - Something that isn't going to get destroyed on a hike, with GPS tagging for reference - Ideally USB-based charging would be good to allow charging on the go from a standard power bank without needing an extra power brick.

I like that recommendation for the W300.

Used for £239 here, as new. Well regarded people too.
