Can you recommend me a camera strap?
Discussion
A few years ago I had the Nikon gear, heavy camera and heavy lenses. So I was happy to get myself a Fujifilm XT4 and smaller lenses: the weight difference was a delight. But somehow I started (again...) to buy some heavy lenses like the 50-140 2.8. I know...
Anyway, I think I want to buy a good camerastrap. Like this one:
Any recommendations?

Used them for years. Quick release system excellent.

Have one that has a secondary security strap. One that goes from the shoulder strap to, say, one of the lugs on the camera.
I use one of these straps and always recommend them. But, and it's a big one, the fitting to the tripod mount can unscrew. I've never had the situation where it's come undone, but it does get looser.
I've never regretted buying quality. It's unfortunate that it often costs, but if the kids go without shoes for a month or two, it's for the best.

Just to be different, I'll point you towards BlackRapid:

They also offer the preciously mentioned 'safety strap' to attach to a lug on the camera body.
As much as I wouldn't want to walk around all day with it, this will hold a D800+battery grip and a 150-600 lens with no problem (attached the the lens mount!).
Smaller lenses such as a 70-200 2.8 are no issue as a walk around all day option.

When I had my EF 70-200 f2.8 on an EF to RF adaptor, all was well with a Black Rapid strap. As soon as I went to 100-500mm, the whole lot would swing like a big pendulum unless I kept one hand on it. That defeated some of the point of having a strap. The Peak Design has completely tamed that swing.
Thanks guys, it looks like Peak Design is a clear winner in the popularity tests.

BUT none of those peak design ones are like the one in the OP ? you want one that can attach to a nut on the tripod mount of a large lens and can slide ? I have a black rapid one thats been good!
From the peak design site, so perhaps a mix:How you carry your gear and what works for you is very subjective and ultimately only a question you can of course answer (as shown by Tog who didn't get on with the Balckrapid).
A difference I do note between the one you've shown from Peak Design and the Blackrapid, is that with the Blackrapid, only the camera moves on its slide, with the Peak Design, the whole strap rotates and slides.
Horses for courses on this one, it might be worth popping into a camera shop and trying them or purchasing from the likes of Amazon and returning what doesn't work for you (or return them all and pick up the one you want when it appears in the Amazon Warehouse ).

I attached my Peak Design strap to my Nikon D810 on the left hand side, with the right hand side attached to my 70-200 lens by the tripod mount. Peak Design supply a mounting point for this. It worked fine. Arkose said:

From the peak design site, so perhaps a mix:ETA - Correct lens size !

Here's a man explaining it:3 minutes in shows the tripod mounting bit.
If you go to their website

And click on 'Specs' it shows you what's in the box, including a tripod mount.

I use black rapid straps. Awesome things and very comfortable. They also work when wearing a rucksack for example.
+1I've had 3x BlackRapid straps for many years and have found them to be the most practical and comfortable straps I've ever used, although to be fair, I've not had the opportunity to try a Peak Design one.
As Troc mentions above, they can be used when wearing a rucksack, and I've previously spent many hours carrying 2 DSLRs - one over each shoulder with Canon L lenses and 580EX2 flash units attached, and found them to be remarkably comfortable.
It's true that the tripod screw CAN work loose, but after spotting this once, I am now in the automatic habit of checking the mount is tight when I pick up the camera, and have never had an issue with it coming loose since. If it's something that is of concern, then even if not supplied with one, it would be a simple matter to make your own "safety tether" looped through the normal strap mount, although I haven't felt the need personally.

I use both peak design and black rapid .... peak design is great for anything up to pro dslr with a 70-200 2.8 imo. Beyond that, I prefer the black rapid for bigger primes etc
Can you explain what makes the difference with bigger primes?Looks like Black Rapid is rising in the polls. I guess I have to go to a good shop now and try the Peak Design and the Black Rapid. Although the Black Rapid is a little more expensive, the difference is not huge.
Thank you all!
