Photo me …… photos.
Discussion
Sorry if this isn’t the right place but I’ve had some photos taken in a Photo-Me photo booth. I selected passport style with a code under the impression I could enter the code on their web site or somewhere else and get a download of a digital version of the photo in order to upload it a part of my Indian visa application. Ive four printed photos and a unique code.
Anyone know how I can do this please?
Regards

I've been having a look, I think the code is for the gov.uk passport application site. I can't seem to see if the photos can be downloaded on the photo-me site. Anyone know how I can do this please?

I haven’t done an Indian visa but have done 2 UK passports and 2 US passports recently. I use an app called passport photo to take the photo in the correct dimensions. All have been accepted. The only issue I’ve had were not with the photos but with my daughter’s wonky eyes without glasses but I was able to sort that and resubmit. Digital downloads are free.
For the UK ones, I could use a code from a physical Photo Booth like you are doing or upload from my PC without a code.

It is sunday and my brain has switched off for the weekend, but is this saying that Photo-Me booths and/or a central repository are retaining digital images of users and that Government has arrangements in place to access them?
Yes. You have your photo taken, you get 4 physical copies and the option of having it emailed to you. You go home, put the code into your passport application and there it is, application complete. If you pay cash, they have no way of identifying who you are ( and it's unlikely they would cross reference your payment card anyway?)It does say they will only retain the photos for 30 days but they tend to be retained and accessible after that.

Got the visas today, no problem with the app you suggested, photos were fine. For the UK ones, I could use a code from a physical Photo Booth like you are doing or upload from my PC without a code.
