Can anyone help me with some vintage cameras?
Discussion
Evening,
My other half’s Nan passed away recently and we were tasked with helping clear her house before it was sold. I found a few old cameras and lens in a bedroom wardrobe and brought them home with me. We’d like to sell them but I don’t really know where to start with them.
This is the first camera/camcorder I’ve unboxed and taken pictures of.
These are the lens I’ve found in another bag.
That’s all I’ve taken photos of so far. I’ve got another 3-4 cameras and a Canon Super 8 camcorder as well. I’ll upload the pictures as I take them.

Top camera is a cine, probably 8mm as it doesn't look big enough for super8. You have 2.8/135, 3.5/200 and 2/58 fixed focal length lenses to fit a 35mm film camera(first figure is the maximum aperture size, second is focal length in mm), you'd need to photograph the fitting to help identify what they'll fit. None strike me as being of huge value but may raise a few £.

The Helios marked lens looks like those fitted to Russian zenit 35mm cameras circa early 80’s. 50mm focal length, 42mm screw fitting. Not of any value.
The lenses overall look, at the very least, dusty maybe even affected by fungus.
I don’t know anything about the cine camera but the rest aren’t worth anything.

'Greens Federal' - never heard of that one. https://m42lens.com/m42-lens-database/1258-greens-...
I don't know about the cine camera (have a google) but as for the lenses, as said, nothing special I'm afraid - apart from the above the rest is Eastern European stuff from the 1970s. You could clean them up, take some nice photos and put them on eBay starting at £10 - photo/arts students might go for them. If that's too much trouble take them to a charity shop.

I remember Photax Paragon lenses in the mid/late 70s when they were new. They were a low end brand. I had a 28mm wide angle which was perfectly adequate. Probably 42mm screw mount given the others in the pics so won’t be worth much. Maybe £10 to £15.
Think the Paragon lenses usually accompanied Praktica cameras, decent but slightly less budget than the Zenits as far as I remember.velocemitch said:

Definately precedes Super 8.
I remember this make from going on a group holiday to Spain in 1963 (I was 11) Several of the dads bought an Admira and raved about the quality without having to spend the money for a Bolex or one of the new Japanese ones. They'd team it with a Eumig projector and we'd spend many an evening comparing holiday 'reels' from each family! Happy days.
