Looking for a camera bag that'll take a DSLR size body and at least two or three lenses, some filters and a laptop and charger - what's good?

I’ve just bought one of these

https://www.wexphotovideo.com/manfrotto-pl-backloa...

It replaces my previous Lowepro, as my new mirrorless camera needs a little more space than the previous dSLR, and the new lens is bulkier.
This Manfrotto certainly makes better use of space, has excellent padding, takes my 15” MacBook Pro, and has an excellent padlock system.

Definitely worth a look.

Got several Billingham Bags, all but one bought secondhand on eBay.

For what you describe, one of the "5" series would fit the bill ... depending on lens and laptop size.

Personally have a 335 and a 445, the 445 holds a 16" laptop and is probably the sweet spot in the range.

Shoulder bag or rucksack?

For shoulder bags I've long loved Domkes. Less padding than many makes, but that means the bag is smaller and lighter for a given capacity. For backpack I have a ThinkTank.

ThinkTank are excellent imo.

I prefer shoulder bags to backpacks for most of my use, but a ThinkTank shoulder bag I have can be got with an optional harness that converts it into a back when needed.

if you’re OK with a backpack that you can sling over one shoulder, I have a LowePro BP 350 AWii. It fits my MB Air 13” or iPad Pro, but probably not a full-size laptop. Very flexible and I really like it

Thanks for all the input.

I should have added a little more detail in my OP - it's a medium sized bag I'm after, mainly for when travelling or going on holiday and want to take a laptop and camera and a couple of lenses as cabin luggage on a plane. That Manfrotto one looks great but I already have one about that size/capacity, albeit without safe accomodation for a laptop. Looks like Manfrotto have smaller versions of that bag or a similar model so I'll look into those - thanks smile

I know several people who swear by a ThinkTank Shapeshifter for travel, as once you get there and get your kit out you can compress the bag so you don't have a massive empty rucksack on while taking photos. I have a TTStreetwalker for carrying all the kit from A to B, but I might get a Shapeshifter for other occasions.

Another vote for Billingham bags, I had my first (335) 40 yrs across multiple holidays with 35mm film kit and laptop.
Sent it to billingham for a new shoulder strap when the old one looked a bit to dog eared then used it with work kit every day for 8 years.

Retired it (kept as a trophy) and bought another off marketplace with the rucksack straps that will easily see me out.

Edit to add:
Also got a small Hadley Pro for compact (X100V) with a few bits and bobs.
P.S
Like the car shots on your website esp the 500 and bike.
