I watched a video by the Northcotts a while ago predicting that pay for features via firmware would become a thing , and it looks like they were right. Whilst that particular update seems aimed at a specific market it won’t be long before mission creep appears ,” eye focus tracking? That will be extra for the update sir”….(or madam) …….

Either by buying add on for an existing item, or buying a newer model with aadditional features.
