Hello.

The situation is I managed to successfully bid on a few bits of Nigel Mansell memorabilia at the recent Sotheby's auction. This includes the race suit he wore when he did a guest appearance for BMW in 2007.

See here: https://www.carscoops.com/2007/07/nigel-mansell-sm...

I was hoping to track down a high res / quality original photo to get framed to put behind the suit when it goes in my garage. I was wondering if anyone on here would have any idea where I could locate some.

I found these, but they're not very good: https://xpbimages.com/fbmw/event/fbmw-2007-uk-laun...

I also found this one and have emailed to see if they have any more: https://prints.motorsportimages.com/formula-world-...

Not an issue if payment is needed etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd start by contacting BMW's press office: https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/united-kingdom/info...

Failing thant, Motorsport Images are probably your best bet. They hold the only official F1 license for F1 photography including historic images. They were once called LAT, owned by the Tee family who've been shooting F1 forever.

You could also try: https://www.gettyimages.co.uk

There's also a chap on PH called Paul Chadwick (forgot his user name) who collects and trades motorsport images. On social media he goes by the name of Motoring Man.

Steve, thanks for that. Very helpful.

LAT/Motorsport images was going to be my suggestion.
