Top end OnePlus phones have had hasslebad lenses for a while now. I don't have one but I have had lower spec OnePlus phones for a few years now. Fantastic phones

Thanks, I'd never heard of OnePlus. Hasselblad isn't a brand you hear much of these days.

My Mavic Pro 2 Drone has a Hasselblad camera which, given the size, is capable of capturing astounding photos and video - I assume the same will apply here.

Not that it matters but the name 'Hasselblad' is used under a licensing agreement with some technology transfer throw in - they don't actually make the thing.

I understood DJI to have taken the name effectively a couple of years ago now

Yep. My Mavic is three years old and they were using the name a few years before then.

It's a little more than just paying to use the name as Hasselblad wouldn't want to be associated with substandard equipment. IIRC, they developed (or designed) the sensor and firmware.

I have the Oppo find X6 pro, they own One Plus and have also partnered up with Hasselblad but the main difference is the X6 Pro uses a Sony 1 inch sensor.

Can be picked up for similar money if you import it

A phone with a 1" sensor? Physics suggests that would be a fisheye nuts

Isn’t that more to do with the lens than sensor size? Would think most phone sensors are smaller and DSLRs bigger.

Is 100MP particularly meaningful on a sensor this size with a camera lens? Compared to the MP rating of full frame DSLRs (e.g. 20-30 on many) then it seems a bit optimistic!

There's a DJI/Hasselblad shop in Birmingham, opposite the Apple shop.
