September 2023 Photography Competition - Faces

As we did not get a winner for the August photo competition, I have gone back to the topic from September 2013's competition, which was "Faces".

Rules as usual:

• The photos taken must be your own work
• The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
• The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month (although in this case there was no previous winner)
• Entries and discussion on a single thread, please.
• All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
• Winners should update the Competition Wiki (it's easy)
• Photos entered can be as large as you like, although bear in mind if too large, it may not be possible to see the whole image on some screens. Links to larger versions are permissible.

One from my archives. Back in 2006, a friend of mine managed to wangle a couple of press passes to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. As a bit of a Senna fan, this rather spooked me.

Its quite an old photo of mine, but fits the subject.
Picture is of a sculpture mask in York Minster. I was walking past and happened to glance at the mask and saw the stained glass window through the eye.
